Vital Voices GROW Fellowship Accelerates Women Owned Businesses in 29 Countries
May 25, 2018 – In May, Pip from Casitas Tenorio B&B attended the Vital Voices (VV) GROW Fellowship training workshop in Dublin, Ireland. This intensive 4-day session brought together 39 women owners of small and medium-sized businesses from 29 countries around the world for customized business skills and leadership training.
Research indicates that the real drivers of the global economy are women. As business leaders, employees, consumers and entrepreneurs, women are accelerating economic growth and improving conditions in their communities. Despite the proven benefits of women’s economic engagement, women business owners face significant barriers in accessing the networks, training, and financing needed to succeed.
Vital Voicespartners with women leaders across the globe who use business growth as a means to improve their community and the world.
Designed exclusively for women owners of small and medium-sized businesses, the VV GROW Fellowship is a highly competitive one-year global accelerator program that provides fellows with customized business skills training, technical assistance, leadership development and access to global networks. Through virtual and in-person training, fellows focus on strategy and long-term business value paired with action-oriented plans.
By supporting women who have been at the helm of small and medium sized businesses for at least three years, the VV GROW Fellowship helps support womenleaders to create jobs, catalyze economic growth and drive social change.

About The Vital Voices Global Partnership
Vital Voices Global Partnership invests in women leaders who improve the world. In 1997, Vital Voices was created to make space for women to be heard. Our founders knew then what has now become a universal truth: that women are essential to progress in their communities. Our world cannot move forward without their full participation. Today, our organization is the product of the women we have worked with, their insights into leadership and our changing world.
