Nestled in lush tropical gardens teeming with birdlife, our six private casitas (small houses/bungalows) offer a peaceful retreat in harmony with nature. Thoughtfully designed for both comfort and convenience, each casita includes high-quality accessories, luxurious bed linens, and thoughtful touches—like fresh coffee and milk in the fridge—to make your stay feel like a home away from home. We also have a guest house Mi Casa es Su Casa if you are interested in an extended stay or a larger space.
Dining Options
While we serve a delicious homemade breakfast, we do not offer lunch or dinner. However, we provide menus from various local restaurants and can arrange dinner deliveries, setting up a cozy dining experience in our open-air area.
Alternatively, you’ll find two supermarkets, a butcher shop, and a bakery in Bijagua. Each casita is equipped with a small kitchenette, including a microwave, coffee maker, and crockery, so you can prepare your own meals if you prefer.

What if My Preferred Dates Aren’t Available?
Our online calendar updates in real time. If your desired dates are unavailable, check back later as cancellations do occur! You can also email us to be placed on a waiting list.
Reservation Policy
- All rates displayed are based on dual occupancy. Add 13% sales tax to all reservations.
- Breakfast is included in all rates. Our menu rotates each day.
- Check in: 2pm-6pm. Please let us know if you need to check in later. You can arrive earlier and luggage can be securely stored in the reception area at any time.
- The full charge of reservation may be processed at anytime time after the reservation is made.
Cancelation policy
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to check in date are fully refundable
- Cancellations 15 to 29 days prior to check are 50% refundable
- Cancellations 14 days or less prior to check-in are non-refundable
- There are no refunds for early check-outs or no shows
- Payments to be made in cash on arrival
- Children aged 0-4 sleep for free. Children 5-12 years, $20 per night (+taxes). Children over 12 years and adults $25 per night (+taxes).
- Resident rates: Please use the PROMOCODE ‘TICO’ on our website, present your cedula and pay in cash for your 15% discount.
- Return guest rate: Please contact info@casitastenroio.com for your PROMOCODE for a 20% discount.
