Make a difference
When you stay at Casitas Tenorio B&B you’re not just booking to stay – you’re becoming part of a rural community tourism project. We invite you to become part of our everyday life and to learn about what like is like in rural Costa Rica.
You have the opportunity to contribute to our community and make a lasting difference when you are here and beyond. We invite you to make a difference to our community.
How to participate
You can choose to:
- Make a donation to a local community organization- maybe you would like to make a donation to the local elementary or high school. You might like to donate to the local scout group, football club or a local church.

- You can support Amy and her family- see the Amy’s Jam Project
- You can participate in our Sustainable Traveller challenge
- You can give one of our staff members a tip or a donation to their family
- Stay in contact with us after you leave and recommend our place to others and come back again yourselves!
