Pack for a Purpose

We are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save just a few kilograms of space in your suitcase and take supplies for area schools or medical clinics in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families. We support local schools and the local medical clinic. Many families are unable to purchase all the supplies needed for their children to attend school, and many of the local schools are under resourced. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Please click here to see what supplies are needed for our project/projects or click on the toggle ‘suggested donations’ below. For more information visit the Pack for a Purpose website or CONTACT US.

Your contribution can make a big impact

Casitas Tenorio has been involved in volunteering at and seeking supplies for many local primary schools, the high school, an English language school and also a school in a nearby Indigenous community. The project benefits local school children and their families. English is very important in our area and for the future of our community. There are limited resources here and any stationery and learning supplies will be greatly appreciated by all. The schools have dining and outdoor areas and the children enjoy sports, so any additional supplies would be great. You can even come and visit the schools during your stay if you’d like. The area is rural and poverty is high.
